As a Fashion Merchandiser, you will play a key role in driving the success of our product lines by managing the merchandising process from concept to delivery. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that our collections align with market trends, meet customer demands, and achieve business objectives. It’s a non-target-based position
Responsibilities:
- Take care of the order management, and manage export garment orders from collection to timely delivery.
- Plan and estimate Time Action (T&A) for efficient streamlined garment export.
- Oversee raw material procurement, ensuring availability for manufacturing.
- Validate Proforma Invoice details and facilitate Back-to-back L/C.
- Strongly manage sampling, and participate in factory selection if needed.
- Monitor production, ensure quality, and coordinate shipments in line with T&A plan.
- Maintain continuous communication and liaison with buyers.
- Stay updated on industry developments, fashion trends, and consumer behavior to inform merchandising decisions and strategies.
- Collaborate with designers to translate trends into innovative product concepts and collections.
- Develop seasonal assortment plans and product lineups that cater to different customer segments and target markets.
- Monitor product development and production timelines to ensure on-time delivery and meet customer expectations.
Requirements:
- 2- 3 years’ experience as Fashion Merchandiser or similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of fabric procurement, T&A planning, and export processes.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration.
- Keen attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
- Team player with a passion for export operations.
Timings: Night shift (between 5pm – 5am)
